2006 stocking

The Pennsylvania Striped Bass Association is very happy to report the successful stocking of 10,500 striped bass into Lake Raystown.  The fish were between 5-6 inches and arrived at their new home in excellent condition.  The lively fingerlings were placed in a tank on a boat and distributed in various locations around the lake.

2007 stocking

Here are some photos from the stocking on Tuesday Oct 17. We stocked 5,000 stripers from 5" to about 8" in size. The stripers were distributed to various locations between Tatman Run and Aitch, using portable tanks on board Denny Roth's and Rick McVicker's pontoon boats. The stripers were all in good condition.

Next Tuesday (Oct 23) the club will stock another 5,000 stripers.
