On January 24, 2009 the PSBA held its Fifth Annual Awards Banquet for the 2008 Tournament Season. The Banquet was held at the Robertsdale Fire Hall.

Team of the Year for 2008 - Team Git-R-Done (L-R) Mike Amick, Connie Amick, Capt. Randy Ickes, Linda Ickes

2008 Angler of the Year - Frank Boyer is presented his award from 2007 Angler of the Year Don Houp.

2008 Lady Angler of the Year - Connie Amick is presented her jacket by 2007 Lady Angler Diane Tucker

2008 Youth Angler - Gabe Long is presented his award from 2007 Youth Angler Eric McVicker

2008 Most Improved Team - Bustin Bass is presented their award by Pres. John Long. Scott Yingling and Amber Horner won the Open Tournament in August 2008

2008 Family Team was awarded to Todd Gantt Sr. and Todd Gantt Jr. This father-son team were regulars on the tournament trail and Todd Jr. barely missed winning Youth Angler.

Special Recognition was given to Team Big Fish Guys, Frank Boyer and Don Hudson. They set a new PSBA tournament record two fish weigh-in of 60.23 lbs. in August 2008
