Also it is getting that time of year when the female fish are getting ready to spawn. If you are out fishing and catch any fish, it would be greatly appreciated and helpful to the PSBA in their hatchery project if you could send a picture of the egg sack and info of where the fish was caught and the temp of the water to Nelson Wert via text or email. The main goal of the PSBA is to preserve the landlocked Striped Bass fisheries of Pennsylvania, primarily Lake Raystown. From conservation to community and social events, the PSBA will work to promote, protect, and preserve the quality of stripers in the fresh water lakes of Pennsylvania.
