We are having a work day next Friday and Saturday April 28th & 29th to do some clean-up, plumbing and anything else that needs done at the facility. It’s critical that this work gets done next weekend!!! From the sound of things the fish should be very close to spawn in the next week or two. We are going to take egg samples this weekend at the tournament weigh-in for Nelson to check, as this will give some idea as to when we need to try collecting fish. Please let us know if you or anyone else could possibly help with the clean-up/work detail or in collecting fish.

Thanks for all your help!!!

Also it is getting that time of year when the female fish are getting ready to spawn. If you are out fishing and catch any fish, it would be greatly appreciated and helpful to the PSBA in their hatchery project if you could send a picture of the egg sack and info of where the fish was caught and the temp of the water to Nelson Wert via text or email. Nelson can be sent this info @ (406) 980-3836 or nelsonwert@comcast.net
